Transmission of this virus is more likely to occur in countries with tropical and subtropical climates. This is associated with increasing temperatures, and changes in the rainy and dry seasons are considered factors that increase the risk of dengue virus transmission (Slani et al., 2024). Metodology : carry out non-physical intervention programs such as health education about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This activity consists of 3 stages, namely planning, preparation and implementation. In the planning stage, students coordinate with the hamlet head, village midwife, RT head, for observations and discussions regarding Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) education..Results: The results of implementing activities in health education about dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) can be seen after the health education by asking respondents to explain again what has been explained, with the results of respondents experiencing an increase in the sufficient knowledge category, namely 18 respondents (93.3%) and experiencing a decrease in the category Lack of knowledge, namely 2 respondents (6.7%). output achieved. Conclusion: Through the implementation of the activity "Health Education on Preventive Efforts and Methods of Transmission of DHF" in general it can be concluded that the public's understanding of how to prevent and transmit DHF is still not evenly distributed so that service activities like this still need to be carried out on an ongoing basis to ensure the correctness and accuracy of information regarding prevention efforts.
2025-04-08T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Cahaya Negerikuhttps://cahayanegeriku.org/index.php/jpkm/article/view/98Pendidikan Kesehatan dan Demontrasi Intervensi Pemberian Medisco pada Balita Berat Badan Kurang Usia 12-59 bulan2025-03-07T14:15:50+07:00Sutiyonomstiono@gmail.comWahyu Riniasihono@unan.ac.idSuryaniono@unan.ac.idNurya Kumalasariono@unan.ac.idRahmawationo@unan.ac.idMuhammad Makmunono@unan.ac.idSri Temuono@unan.ac.id
ABSTRACT

Background: Malnutrition is a condition of a person whose nutritional deficiency is below average. It is one of the languages that is considered important to learn in the current era of globalization. It is important to develop English language skills from an early age. One of the skills that really needs to be trained from an early age is mastery of English vocabulary. Without sufficient vocabulary, a person cannot communicate effectively and cannot express his ideas well in oral or written form. Uninteresting teaching methods, false beliefs about the relationship between language and everyday life, and social and cultural environments that influence students' attitudes towards learning English are some of the many causes of low interest in learning English. Currently, there are many interactive and interesting digital English learning media that can help students learn English more effectively.

Methodology : The methods used in this activity were asking the students to watch a short film, then gave them questions related to the vocabulary in the film and trained the students to use the vocabulary in other contexts.

Result : After watching the film and being giving explanation, students are able to arrange sentences with the given vocabularies.

Conclusion : The use of short films to help students improve vocabulary mastery is very effective. Natural supplements such as Curcuma have been widely used due to their pharmacological benefits, including appetite stimulation and digestive support. Despite the availability of multivitamin products on the market, many are not affordable or suitable for specific nutritional needs, especially for children in lower-income families. Aims: This community service program aimed to educate elementary school students at SD Negeri 2 Panunggalan about the importance of vitamins—particularly those derived from Curcuma—in supporting appetite and general health. The activity was also designed to promote early understanding of healthy nutrition and the benefits of herbal-based supplements. Results: The implementation consisted of several stages: preparation, educational sessions including interactive discussions, and evaluation through post-tests. The results showed that students could recognize different types of appetite-enhancing vitamins and understood the role of Curcuma in improving health. The educational intervention successfully increased students' awareness of vitamin use and the benefits of traditional herbal supplements. Conclusion: Early education on the benefits of herbal-based supplements like Curcuma is effective in promoting nutritional literacy among school-aged children. Community-based health education initiatives such as this can play a significant role in addressing childhood anorexia and micronutrient deficiencies, especially when led by university students as health education ambassadors.
2025-03-20T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Cahaya Negeriku
